Randy Blythe might be out of Czech prison, but he’s still in a bit of hot water. Since the manslaughter charges against him haven’t been dropped, he’ll need to defend himself in a court of law at some point over the next few months. That means legal bills out the wazoo, and Blythe and his bandmates are hardly billionaires.
Lamb Of God made the decision to auction off various equipment and memorabilia on eBay to help Blythe raise the funds necessary to keep him from drowning in legal bills. All items being auctioned off have been used by Lamb Of God on tour, in the studio, or on a video, and all members of the band contributed at least one item. Other members of the metal community donated curios as well — David Ellefson of Megadeth and Chris Kael of Five Finger Death Punch each contributed a bass, and the members of Five Finger Death Punch added a autographed skateboard deck to the mix.
If for whatever reason you really REALLY don’t want awesome band swag cluttering up your house, you can still donate to Randy’s legal fund by clicking here. You can check out the auction here — bids have already started, so make sure you get in on the ground floor!
