BILL WARD FIRED BY SHARON OSBOURNE?

Last week drummer Bill Ward of Black Sabbath issued a statement regarding the recording of the new Black Sabbath album saying that while he was ready to participate in recording sessions, he could not continue until a signable contract that reflects some dignity and respect for him as an original member of Black Sabbath was drawn up.

Ward’s bandmates issued the following response via the official Black Sabbath website:

“We were saddened to hear yesterday via Facebook that Bill declined publicly to participate in our current Black Sabbath plans … we have no choice but to continue recording without him although our door is always open … We are still in the UK with Tony. Writing and recording the new album and on a roll…”

Now unconfirmed reports have started to surface that Bill was fired by Sharon Osbourne and will be replaced with Ozzy’s current drummer Tommy Clufetos.  STAY TUNED……
